Shipping & Live Arrival Policy
We take great care in packing and shipping all livestock to ensure safe and healthy arrival.
Shipping Schedule
All livestock orders ship via UPS next day service.
Orders ship Monday-Wednesday to avoid weekend delays.
Orders placed after Tuesday at 12 PM PST will ship the following week.
Tracking information is provided immediately once your order has shipped.
Packaging Standards
All corals are individually double bagged and packed in insulated shipping boxes with liners.
Heat or cold packs are included as needed based on weather conditions.
Packing methods are adjusted to minimize stress during transit.
Live Arrival Guarantee (DOA Policy)
We guarantee live arrival on all corals when delivery requirements are met.
If a coral arrives dead on arrival (DOA):
- Clear photos must be provided within two hours of delivery.
- Photos must show the coral inside the original, unopened bag and include the shipping box and packing materials.
Once verified, store credit or a replacement will immediately be issued at our discretion, based on availability.
Delivery Requirements
To qualify for the Live Arrival Guarantee:
- The package must be delivered on the first delivery attempt.
- Someone must be available to receive the shipment.
- The shipping address must be accurate and complete.

After Arrival Care
Some corals and fish may appear stressed after shipping, which is normal. You should see the animal start to exhibit normal behavior within 48 hours of being introduced to the tank.
We recommend temperature acclimation for most animals, and drip acclimation for more highly sensitive species. Place the new animal in an area with subdued lighting/flow initially, until it becomes accustomed to new tank mates and parameters.
Refunds and Returns
Due to the nature of live animals, all sales are final.
Approved DOA claims are issued as store credit only or
direct replacements only.
Store credit does not expire.
